Where is good to live in Budapest!! the best places to live in Budapest is in district 5,6,7,8,9! what is important that it will be with-in (inside of the main Boulevard) where tram line 4 and 6 passes and is known as the grand Boulevard! The center of Budapest is part of all of this districts, so actually, if you live in district 6 or 7 but outside of the tram line, than its normally bad area to live in! district 5,6,7,8,9 that are inside of the tram line 4 and 6 are the best areas to live in, where almost all the students and Erasmus live in, near the universities and shops,shopping malls, gyms, clubs, bars, metro, night bus and most importantly the easy public transport and night tram! it is recommended to live near to the tram line 4 and 6! its the best way of transport in Budapest and its also a night tram 24/7 (if you buy a monthly pass, that cost about 9 euro, than you will be able to use all the public transport in Budapest, specially the tram 4 and 6) here is a map of Budapest, and i put a red line in the good area to live i hope it helps you!
