Location:
The apartment is located on Dessewffy Street, in a very central part of Budapest, between Oktogon, Nyugati and near by Arany János.
The neighborhood has a great mix of historic architecture, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, bars and everyday shops. The streets around Dessewffy are central and lively without being as busy and tourist-focused as some of the nearby areas.
You’re just a short walk from Oktogon, Andrássy Avenue and the Opera house, Liszt ferenc utca with its cafés, restaurants and easy access to the rest of the city.
In the other direction, Nyugati and the area around Jászai Mari tér offer plenty of shops, restaurants and local places to eat. Arany János utca and the area around the Basilica are also within easy walking distance.
The area has a nice balance between city life and everyday Budapest living — you’re close to nightlife, cafés and the main sights, but the immediate streets around the apartment still feel like a residential part of the city.
A central, well-connected neighborhood with plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops right outside your door.
Public transportation:
The location is particularly convenient for students. Many parts of central Budapest can be reached on foot, while the M3 metro, M1 metro, 4/6 tram and several bus and trolleybus lines are nearby.
